Seattle XP Group

This is the home page of the SeattleXpUsersGroup, a group of developers in Seattle and the surrounding areas who practice - or wish they could practice - ExtremeProgramming. Our goal is to improve our own practice of XP and to help others do the same.

News

[Agile Open Northwest 2008] was held at Seattle Center on March 18-19, 2008. Everyone I talked to had an excellent time. Session notes and the conference retrospective may be found on the conference wiki: http://agileopennorthwest.org/wiki/wiki.pl

Security

Due to repeated spammings, we've had to institute a password policy for editing on the wiki. Anyone can make edits by following the instructions at WikiSecurity.

Meetings

Our normal meeting schedule is monthly, usually on the second Thursday of the month. We have had some pretty interesting guest speakers and plan to have others. We are experimenting with alternating between East Side and Downtown locations. Check the MeetingSchedule for the location of the upcoming meeting and for any last-minute changes. See SeattleXpMeetings for general information and further details about both locations.

Other small groups meet periodically to work on specific areas of interest. Most notably, there are PairProgrammingMeetings in Wallingford every Thursday except the day of our regular meeting.

Mailing List

We maintain a MailingList on Yahoo groups which mostly has reminders and announcements. The files area is used for downloads of interest to the group.
